A live, in-gallery performance integrating aerial acrobatics, improvised music, film, and choreography.

Music for trumpet, electric guitar, and violin is improvised around a structured score, then processed, looped, and distorted in real time—producing evolving soundscapes that respond directly to movement, gesture, and the surrounding exhibition.

Staged within Altered States in the Acid West, the exhibition serves as both backdrop and site of investigation. Sound, image, and the suspended body are continuously reshaped, transforming the gallery into a live, responsive field.

Gillet Trio is a performance ensemble comprised of Briana Gillet, Nora Price, and Carina Gillet. Drawing from wide-ranging formal backgrounds, the trio has developed a cross-disciplinary collaboration rooted in the Mountain West, bringing together music, aerial practice, and time-based media as a unified performance language.
