About
Utah PlantFest 2026 is a free two-day event dedicated to native plants and related ecological topics. It takes place Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 8275 South 1300 West, West Jordan, UT, USA. It is open to anyone interested, but registration is required for all participants.
The event includes presentations, panels, meetings, workshops, and interactive sessions such as seed and gear swaps. Topics include native plant cultivation, pollinators, restoration ecology, science communication, research symposiums, gardening, careers, and ecological stewardship. Attendees can join keynote talks, panels, and botanical workshops, and connect with partner organizations through networking and tabling events. Some sessions are aimed at botanists, gardeners, job seekers, and UNPS members.
Participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring native seeds and gardening gear to share. Registration is free; a suggested donation of $25 helps keep the event accessible to all.
Register in advance, and only register and sign up for sessions you plan to attend.
