Join Connie Denton in a 6-hour class that will teach you to make a woven pine needle basket from beginning to end. You’ll learn how to make a basket from long-leaf pine needles, using Irish waxed linen, an assortment of beads and other embellishments, and starting with a stone center. Topics covered include how to make your stitches stack up on one another, types of pine needles you can use, pine needle preparation, different types of basket centers, embellishing your basket, and how to start and finish your basket.
