• Night Hike — All Ages; September 18, 7-9pm; $12 members, $15 non-members. Please register ahead. Get an after-hours peek at the Ogden Nature Center as we explore the trails after dark and learn about nocturnal adaptations. Get ready to find the animals we don't get to see during the day and learn new skills like "spider sniffing"!

• Fall Foraging Fun — All ages; September 26, 10am-12pm; $12 members, $15 non-members. Foraging is a great way to connect with nature and explore the outdoors. Join us along the trails at Ogden Nature Center to brush up your botany skills and learn about edible plants in Utah. Learn how to identify, gather, and prepare foraged foods and even try a few samples. Please register ahead.

• Immunity in a Jar: Crafting Fire Cider with Navire Apothecary — Ages 13+; October 24, 10am-12pm; $50 members, $55 non-members. Kick off cold and flu season by learning to make one of herbalism’s most iconic remedies. We’ll explore the history of fire cider, the herbs, roots, citrus, and spices that give it its signature kick, and how each ingredient supports wellness throughout the colder months. Before we start crafting, you’ll have the chance to sample a shot of homemade fire cider (if you’re feeling brave!). Then you’ll build your own custom batch to take home and infuse. Participants will take home a jar of your custom handcrafted fire cider, a recipe and educational handout, and the knowledge and confidence to make fire cider for years to come.

• Military Family Day — All ages; November 14, 10am and 2pm. Regular admission rates apply — free for members and free for military veterans and their families (please bring current or past military ID). This Veteran’s Day weekend, we’re celebrating our military heroes. At 10am and 2pm, join us for bald eagle presentations and drop in to create and take home a patriotic craft. No registration required.
