Utah Beer Festival

The Utah Beer Festival is a traveling festival series called the Utah Beer Hop, presented by Salt Lake City Weekly and Utah Beer Festival. It spans 9 stops from July to November and features 20 local breweries across the Salt Lake City and greater Utah area.

Each Hop Stop is hosted at one or more local taprooms and features guest breweries, 5 oz sample pours, themed experiences, face-to-face time with brewers, curated local vendors, live entertainment, and food options.

Ticket info:

• General Admission: grants access to all participating taprooms on an event date and includes a festival sample mug.
• VIP: offers early entry, exclusive beer samples, a pretzel necklace, a Utah Beer Hop T-shirt, and additional host-specific perks. VIP availability is limited for each event.

Sample schedule details:

• July 18 (Marmalade Stop, 4-9pm): Hosted at Mountain West Cider and Red Rock Brewing, Tiki Takeover theme.
• August 1 (South Salt Lake Stop, 4-9pm): Hosted at Chappell Brewing (Wet Hot American Summer), Level Crossing Brewing (Beach Party!), Salt Fire Brewing (70’s Rock and Roll).
• August 29 (Midvale & Sandy Stop, 4-9pm): Hosted at 2 Row Brewing (Toga Party), Wolfdog Brewing (Wild West).
• September 5 (Ogden Stop, 4-9pm): Hosted at Ogdens Own Amphitheater (The Big Top Hop).
• September 26 (Granary Stop, 4-9pm): Hosted at Proper Brewing (Game On!).
• October 3 (Downtown SLC Stop, 4-9pm): Hosted at Epic Brewing (Octoberfest), Bewilder Brewing (Ski Season Kick Off!), Shades on State (Halloween Party).
• October 17 (Millcreek Stop, 1-6pm): Hosted at Second Summit Cider (Local Music).
• Hop Stops #8 and #9: locations and details to be announced.
