The heart of your garden is the soil, and your plants’ health and productivity are directly related to its characteristics. Using some easy hands-on activities, we will help you determine your soil’s texture, structure, and biological activity — which all affect the water, air, and nutrient holding capacity of the soil. We will discuss how to interpret soil test results, including determining the correct organic amendments and calculating the amount your soil requires. Come learn how to analyze your soil to have healthier and more productive plants!
