About
As part of Snowbird's commitment to Play Forever, the resort is teaming up with our guests to support local non-profits on select Wednesdays throughout the season.
Snowbird will donate $5 for each ticket sold to the Play Forever Wednesday grant recipient of the week, with each organization receiving at least $2,000. Guests will have the option to donate an additional amount.
Play Forever Wednesdays lift tickets can be purchased online or in-person at a Ticket Office–located at the Snowbird Center and The Cliff Lodge.
This season, Snowbird's Play Forever Wednesdays grant recipients exemplify the following Play Forever goals:
- Investing in Local Relief: Provide localized aid to the Salt Lake and Utah County communities in times of need.
- Access and Participation: Support diversity, equity and inclusivity within the outdoor community with an emphasis on mountain recreation accessibility.
- Action to Protect the Environment: Support organizations that are focused on protecting the environment through sustainability, education and action.
Non-Profit of The Week: Summit Land Conservancy
Play Forever Goal: Action to Protect the Environment
Summit Land Conservancy's mission is to save land: land that helps cool the planet by drawing carbon out of the atmosphere; land that filters water and holds it deep in aquifers that flow into springs and rivers and eventually the Great Salt Lake; land that feeds us; land that shelters us; land that lets us breathe deeply and lets our hearts beat with joy.
