About

The Latino Arts Festival is a family-friendly celebration of Latin American art, music, dance, food, and culture held at Canyons Village in Park City, Utah. The 2026 event will take place June 12–14. Attendees can expect performances from more than 40 visual artists and performers from across the Americas.

The 2025 programming (as an example) included live music and dance performances representing countries such as:
- Brazil
- Chile
- Mexico
- Peru
- Colombia
- Venezuela
- Puerto Rico
- Bolivia
- and more

Acts featured samba, Latin rock, mariachi, capoeira, traditional folkloric dance, and interactive classes.

Workshops and activities cater to a variety of interests and ages. Examples from 2025 include:
- Face painting
- Zumba classes
- A soccer contest
- Fantasy portraits
- Watercolor painting
- Flash tattoos
- Piñata making
- Relief printing
- Corn husk flower crafting
- Wheel throwing
- Papel Picado workshop

Many of these are available at El Mercadito (the marketplace area) throughout the festival.

The festival also features artisan makers, youth exhibits, food vendors, community partner booths, and a special pre-festival film screening.

The 2025 film was "GAUCHO GAUCHO," a documentary shown in Spanish with English subtitles on June 11 at 7pm. Admission to the film is free and it was noted as suitable for ages 12 and up.

Artist applications for participating are available each year. Most activities are open to all ages, and participants are encouraged to check online for specific sign-up links for workshops where noted.
