Authentic Tamales: A Christmas Tradition
Saturday, December 12, 12:00–2:30 p.m.
Harmons Santa Clara Cooking School
Chef Stephanie Cardinal
Nothing says Christmas in the Southwest quite like a kitchen filled with the aroma of freshly steamed tamales. Celebrate the season with one of our most popular hands-on classes and learn the art of traditional tamale making from the ground up.
We'll make fresh masa, prepare festive fillings, and master the techniques for spreading, filling, and wrapping tamales by hand. Whether you're carrying on a family tradition or starting a new one, you'll leave with the skills and a generous batch of handcrafted Christmas tamales—to steam and share at home.
Menu:
- Red Chile Chicken Tamales
- Jalapeño & Monterey Jack Tamales
Seats are priced per person. Please list any dietary restrictions in the comment section.
To receive a refund or credit, cancellations must be submitted no less than 48 hours before the class begins. Contact the school at [email protected] or 435-773-6200 with any questions.

- You'll be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
