Michael Rowland stars as Shred in the FOX comedy “Animal Control,” alongside Joel McHale. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he is a New York-based stand-up comedian and actor.
He made his late-night TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and was honored as a New Face at the 2022 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He has been featured multiple times on “This Week at the Comedy Cellar” on Comedy Central, as well as “Stupid Questions” with Chris DiStefano and “Pause with Sam Jay” on HBO Max. He also has a feature set for Comedy Central Digital. In 2019, he was a finalist in the New York Comedy Festival’s “New York’s Funniest Stand Up” competition.
