About

Postcards have been an integral tool in facilitating human connectedness and correspondence. They help us recall memories from the past and share new ones with people we care for.

Join us at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts Tuesday, May 5 and Thursday, May 7 for this two-day workshop facilitated by artist/educator Matthew Brasher.

You will practice various watercolor techniques as we discuss symbolism and memory, culminating in the creation of a unique and personal postcard. This workshop is for all skill levels. All materials provided.

  • Dates: Tuesday, May 5 and Thursday, May 7
  • Facilitator: Matthew Brasher
  • Skill level: All levels welcome
  • Materials: Provided
  • Cost: Free for anyone 55+; registration required

We know things come up, but please plan carefully so we can keep this programming free. Please do not reserve a ticket if you cannot attend. The UMFA is offering multiple Creative Aging workshops this spring; please only sign up for one. Registration priority for this workshop will be given to those who have never attended a UMFA Creative Aging Workshop.
