Matt Corman
Born on February 9, 1995, Matt Corman is a Boston-born hip-hop recording artist and entrepreneur celebrated for his hit single "Word to the Wise." As a gold recording artist, he has made significant waves in the music industry, amassing over 200 million streams and positioning himself in the top 1% of artists worldwide. With over 200 songs released, Matt’s consistent output and dedication to weekly releases have propelled him to break through in a highly competitive landscape.
Matt’s musical journey began in 2014 with his debut mixtape, Bars Over Bass, recorded during his college years. He quickly established himself as a live performer, sharing stages with acts like Post Malone, Fetty Wap, and Sammy Adams, and gaining recognition for his dynamic performances. He is a descendant of Edward Gourdine, the first African American Supreme Court Justice in Massachusetts, and his grandfather, Robert Chesnut, played with Duke Ellington.
In 2018, Matt was the first alumnus to perform at Southern New Hampshire University’s homecoming concert, drawing over 3,000 attendees. In 2023, he opened for Skizzy Mars on a national tour across the United States and Canada and formed a partnership with E11even Vodka, performing at the club E11even in Miami, FL. In 2024, Matt completed a 36-city tour with Lil Xan, performed at Howard University’s 100th anniversary homecoming event for 10,000 people, and secured a placement in the Serena Williams documentary on ESPN+.
Throughout his career, Matt has remained one of the few independent artists to navigate the challenges of the ever-evolving music landscape. He founded his own record label, MIH Universal ("Make It Happen Universal"), and through his brand MIH (Make It Happen) he empowers fellow artists and has cultivated a loyal fanbase. His warm personality and infectious energy have solidified his status in the independent hip-hop scene.

Ollie Joseph’s music career began with the release of his first single, "How It’s Going Down," in late 2016. Since then, he has created a diverse catalog of songs that range from modern hip-hop anthems to melodic ballads. His music is inspired by his worldly experience and influenced by his upbringing in Japan, Florida, and Michigan.
