The House of Bernarda Alba

Following her husband's death, the tyrannical Bernarda Alba locks her five daughters away in an eight-year period of strict, isolated mourning. But when a single handsome suitor ignites a fierce rivalry among the sisters, repressed desires simmer beneath the surface, threatening to tear the household apart. Federico García Lorca’s final play is a gripping, poetic explosion of control, freedom, and family secrets.
