Long before Park City became a mining town, a ski destination, or a thriving mountain community, the Wasatch Back was part of the homeland of the Ute people. Beyond Land Acknowledgments is a conversation series exploring the deep history and enduring presence of the Ute Indian Tribe, and how the past informs our responsibilities today.

Through storytelling, dialogue, and shared learning, we seek to move beyond acknowledgment and toward meaningful relationships that honor the first peoples of this land and strengthen our community's connection to them.
