First Friday: Watercolor Embroidery with Hey Be Fab

Join artist Hey Be Fab for a relaxed, drop-in workshop combining watercolor painting and hand embroidery. This First Friday event takes place on November 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM MST at Studio 32 in The Monarch, 455 25th St, Ogden, Utah.
Start by painting a small watercolor piece, experimenting with washes, color blending, and soft layers of pigment. Once it’s dry, add stitched lines, texture, and color with needle and thread to create a unique piece that’s part painting, part textile.
The workshop is suitable for all experience levels. No art or sewing experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Attendees will learn basic watercolor techniques, simple embroidery stitches, and how to combine paint and thread for depth and detail. Drop in anytime during the event and stay as long as you like.
