First Friday: Gel Plate Magazine Transfers with Rebecca Pletsch
Location
About
Join a hands-on, drop-in printmaking workshop in the OCA Gallery led by Rebecca Pletsch. Turn magazine pages and newspaper clippings into unique, layered prints using gel plate image transfer and acrylic paint. Learn techniques for selecting imagery and working with color, transparency, repetition, and layering before pulling your own finished print from the plate.
Inspired by [Artist Name]’s exhibition at OCA, the workshop explores themes of the body, dance, movement, and the character of Ogden through printmaking. Local magazines, newspapers, and other printed materials will be provided.
No prior printmaking experience is required, and all materials are included. Drop in anytime between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Ogden Contemporary Arts, OCA Gallery, 455 25th St, Ogden, Utah. Admission is free, and registration is available online.
