About

All skill levels are welcome to build a personalized butter dish using the slab-building method. You’ll roll and prepare the clay, add texture and personalization with lace, stamps, and stencils, cut the clay into portions with specialized cutters, and choose a glaze color during the event. Pieces will be ready for pickup after two weeks, allowing time to dry, glaze, and fire them.

When: Saturday, November 7, 10:00 am–12:30 pm
Where: The Local Artisan Collective, 2371 Kiesel Avenue, Ogden, UT 84404
Cost: $55
Ages: 10 and up. Younger participants may be accommodated with a parent assisting.

Register online at https://localartisancollective.com/events/butterdish-workshop-11-7-26/ or in person at the Collective. Call Jordan at 385.238.9799 with questions.

Cancellations must be requested seven days before class to receive a refund minus a $5 processing fee. This allows time to refill the spot.

Please pick up completed artwork within 30 days of notification that it is ready. Due to limited storage space, projects not collected within 30 days may be offered for sale at the Collective’s discretion. If your artwork is selected for sale, consider it a compliment—someone else admired your creation, too!
