About
Join Gail Moses of Nite-n-Gail Arts and KC Peek of Seeds of Imagination at the Local Artisan Collective for a three-part workshop in junk journaling and intention-setting. Create a meaningful visual framework for reflection, gratitude, goal-setting, and growth into the new year, with a focus on building intention and creative structure for 2027.
Each three-hour session covers part of the year:
- November 5, 6:00–9:00 PM: January through April
- November 12, 6:00–9:00 PM: May through August
- November 19, 6:00–9:00 PM: September through December
Attend all three sessions for a full-year framework, or register for individual sessions to focus on a specific part of the year. By the end, you’ll have a cohesive journaling framework to support reflection and creative expression throughout the year ahead.
A basic workshop kit with essential materials is included. You’re encouraged to bring your own journal, binder, or personal ephemera. Ephemera packs with specialty papers, embellishments, and charms will be available for separate purchase during class. Themed wax seals will also be available.
Spend time creating, reflecting, and connecting while building a journaling practice that supports mindfulness and personal growth into 2027.

Cost: $46 per workshop or $124 for all three; basic workshop kit included

About the artists:
Gail Moses is beginning a new art journey in Utah after teaching and creating in her own art studio for decades in Alaska. She loves working with polymer clay, watercolor, and drawing, and looks forward to sharing her knowledge, experience, and techniques in classes at The Local Artisan Collective.
KC Peek (she/her) is an award-winning mixed media artist based in Ogden, Utah. Her work explores memory, history, nature, and found objects. She creates intricate dioramas from thrift store finds, family memorabilia, and her great-grandmother’s costume jewelry, as well as watercolor, collage, and 2D and relief mixed media artwork. KC enjoys experimenting with materials and techniques and brings curiosity and play to her art classes. Her goal is to create a space where everyone can experiment and discover their own creativity.
