ABOUT THE BAND
Los Angeles–based cinematic hard rockers EDGE OF PARADISE have carved out a unique space in the heavy music scene with their fusion of thunderous riffs, soaring vocals, electronic textures, and immersive storytelling. Fronted by singer and visual artist Margarita Monet, the band has released albums including Universe (2019), The Unknown (2021), Hologram (2023), and Prophecy (2025). They have performed across more than 30 countries and toured with Lacuna Coil, Delain, Symphony X, DragonForce, Amaranthe, and more.

Their latest studio album, Prophecy (Napalm Records, 2025), was co-produced with Mike Plotnikoff and mixed/mastered by Jacob Hansen. Prophecy introduces 8-string guitars for the first time, delivering increased firepower and intensity. Lyrically and visually, the record confronts the existential crisis of “The Singularity” and asks what it truly means to be human. Monet’s vulnerable, thought-provoking lyricism and striking artwork are featured on the cover and accompanying book.

EDGE OF PARADISE expand their vision beyond music with a graphic novel series that deepens the albums’ narratives and visual world, creating a multidimensional experience.

The album’s lead single, “Death Note,” has become a fan favorite, pairing heavy riffs with soaring hooks. Directed by Monet, the official video uses elaborate sets and cinematic effects in a narrative that blurs the lines between music and film.

Founding members and brothers Parker Jameson and Spencer Weidner had been writing material together since their early teens. After performing numerous shows in their high school and college years, the two established Starkill as their premier creative outlet. Joined by Tony Keathley, Sarah Lynn Collier, and Kevin Spielmann, the band fuses various influences into a high-energy signature sound and live performance.
