Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly festival running August 8 through October 11, 2026, every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, from noon to 6 pm. Admission is free.

The festival features:
- Traditional Bavarian fare
- Over 50 varieties of beer, including a biergarten with German-style and local brews
- Live music
- Games in the Halle tent
- Alphorns on Hidden Peak
- More than 40 local vendors in the Marktplatz offering jewelry, woodworking, pottery, and crafts

Summer activities on site include:
- Alpine Slide
- Mountain Coaster
- Ropes Course
- Bungee Trampolines
- Kids inflatables

Food and drink notes:
- Gluten-free food and non-alcoholic beverage options are available
- Beer and food are purchased à la carte
- Reusing a previous 1-liter Snowbird Oktoberfest mug gets a discount on beer

Transportation and parking:
- Free shuttle provided each event day via the Park & Ride at 9400 S. Highland Dr.; shuttles run every Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day starting at noon, with more frequent service after August 29
- Parking at the resort lots is $15 (lots via Entries 1, 2, and 4); valet is $30
- Most purchases are cashless, though independent vendors may accept cash

Policies and accessibility:
- No pets are allowed (except ADA service dogs)
- Snowbird is a non-smoking resort aside from designated areas

- The event supports different non-profits each weekend; guests can visit their booths to donate or learn more
- Lodging specials, including the Prost Package with souvenir mugs and a $25 dining credit, are available for attendees who wish to stay overnight
