Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a large, family-friendly festival in Utah featuring traditional Bavarian fare, over 50 varieties of beer, live music, activities for all ages, and an array of local vendors.

The event runs every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, from August 8 through October 11, 2026. Hours are noon to 6 pm each event day. It runs for 10 weekends, rain or shine.

Highlights include:
- A biergarten with German-style beers and local brews
- Food such as bratwurst, weisswurst, sauerkraut, apple strudel, and pretzels (all purchased à la carte)
- Over 21 summer activities, including the Alpine Slide, Mountain Coaster, Ropes Course, Bungee Trampolines, and Kids Inflatables
- Games and entertainment in the Halle tent and performances on various stages throughout the grounds
- An array of local vendors in Der Marktplatz

Admission is free. Parking in certain lots is $15; valet parking is $30 per car. Credit or debit card is required for parking; cash is not accepted for parking or at most on-site venues. The event is cashless except for independent vendors in Der Marktplatz. Reverse ATMs are available for prepaid debit cards.

No pets are allowed in the canyon or at the event except by special permit. Snowbird is a non-smoking resort with designated outdoor smoking areas.

The festival is suitable for all ages and includes gluten-free and non-alcoholic options. Reusable Snowbird Oktoberfest beer mugs are encouraged; new mugs may be purchased on site. Plan your visit using the Snowbird App and consider carpooling due to limited parking.
