Connect Finals is an art competition and exhibition held on December 4, 2026, at Urban Arts Gallery in the Gateway Mall (116 S Rio Grande St, Salt Lake City, UT 84101). The event celebrates the creative talents of participants from the annual Connect program and raises funds for the following year’s initiative.
Attendees can enjoy an evening featuring an artist showcase, opportunities to vote for favorite artworks, a silent auction, and an opportunity drawing for prizes from local businesses. Artists will compete for cash awards, with winners chosen through a combination of public voting and expert judging. Winning pieces are exhibited in the Urban Arts Gallery throughout December and January.
Schedule:
- 6:00 PM – Admission & Cocktail Hour: Explore the art showcase and enjoy catered food and drinks from Moab Brewery. Drink tickets can be purchased at the front desk.
- 7:00 PM – Food Will Be Served: Enjoy food while viewing the Connect Finals exhibit.
- 7:30 PM – Artwork Discussion: Artists share insights about their work, each having 40 seconds to discuss their piece.
- 8:30 PM – Voting Officially Opens: Public voting opens. The silent auction and opportunity drawing also begin.
- 9:00 PM – Voting Closes: Votes are tallied, winners of drawings and auctions are announced.
- 9:30 PM – Connect Winners Announced.
- 10:00 PM – Event ends.
Parking is available in the Gateway's North and South garages for a fee, with merchant-rate pricing and validation available for guests parking in the South Garage. The venue is also accessible via UTA / TRAX, located within the UTA Free Fare Zone, and is near stops for direct access.
