A Dance Double Bill: Under the Bed + Dracula

This Halloween season, step into a world of shadows, suspense, and things that go bump in the night.

Under the Bed + Dracula brings two haunting dance productions together for one double bill. Under the Bed, produced by Valley Dance Ensemble and featuring its Apprentice Company Dancers, tells the tale of a child afraid to go to sleep for fear of the monsters lurking under the bed. The child eventually decides to confront that fear and discovers a land of friendly Halloween creatures.

Dracula is a gothic horror ballet usually based on Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel. It tells a dark, romantic story about Count Dracula luring Jonathan Harker to his castle, pursuing Jonathan’s fiancée Mina because she resembles his dead wife, and preying on Mina’s best friend Lucy.

Children ages 5+ admitted. No babes in arms.
