Shanghai Ballet

Shanghai Ballet returns to North America with The Butterfly Lovers, a full-length ballet based on the Chinese love story of two young people whose devotion transcends social barriers. Choreographed by artistic director Xin Lili, it blends classical ballet with Chinese visual and theatrical traditions. The performance runs approximately two hours, including a 15-minute intermission. No children under five or babes in arms are admitted.
