Led by guitarist Blake Beitzel, Atlas Radio is a funk-forward jam band based in Denver, CO. Touted by their followers as “the nastiest band on Earth,” Atlas Radio often combines the worlds of funk, jazz, and blues with modern psych rock and EDM elements to create a sound that can be enjoyed by many listeners of varying age ranges and walks of life.
With a strong focus on their live performances, Atlas Radio has emerged as one of the most exciting acts to come out of the flourishing Colorado music scene. Although no two shows are the same, due to the magic of improvisation, listeners can expect an Atlas Radio show to include a wide variety of moments ranging from groovy dance sections to thoughtful cover mashups to high-flying solos.
