August’s First Friday proudly partners with The Golden Bark Foundation, a Utah nonprofit established in 2022 that focuses on giving senior dogs the love, dignity, and care they deserve. The foster-based rescue specializes in dogs ages 7 and older, providing medical care and individualized support while placing them in compassionate retirement homes or permanent hospice homes when adoption isn’t the right fit.
During Open Studio Night, meet adoptable senior dogs, browse rescue merchandise, and learn how you can support their mission through fostering, volunteering, donating, or adoption.
Enjoy live performances throughout the night from Korene Greenwood, Andrew Wiscombe, and Caden Holmes, joined by The Proper Way. While meeting the available dogs, exploring the artist studios, or relaxing with a drink from The Monarch's bar, you’ll have live local musicians setting the atmosphere all evening.
