City Nature Challenge

All ages are invited to learn about and take pictures of the nature surrounding the Jordan River and add their finds to a national database.

The Day-Riverside Library is participating in the nationwide City Nature Challenge. Library users of all ages will explore the area, document nature, and contribute observations to the national database.

The library is partnering with the Jordan River Commission and the Salt Lake Mosquito Abatement District, who will be teaching patrons about the interesting bits of nature that they find.

Patrons can bring smartphones to take pictures themselves, or bring their bit of nature to a staff member to upload onto the City Nature Challenge website.
