FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention — Salt Lake City’s big annual pop-culture bash. It’s a three-day multi-genre fan convention held downtown at the Salt Palace Convention Center each fall, celebrating comics, movies, TV, gaming, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, and all kinds of nerd culture.
Expect:
- Celebrity panels & Q&As — actors, authors, creators speak about their work and fandoms.
- Meet-and-greets, autographs, and photo ops with guests from major franchises.
- Massive vendor floor & Artist Alley full of merch, collectibles, prints, toys, comics, and indie art.
- Cosplay everywhere — fans in elaborate costumes, contests, and photo ops.
- Panels, workshops, gaming, KidCon activities, and other fan-driven events.
It’s Utah’s largest annual convention, often drawing ten-of-thousands of fans and creating a lively, downtown atmosphere of costumes, culture, and community.
