The Salt Lake Book Festival is a literary event at The Gateway in Salt Lake City on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Attendees can experience author conversations, panel discussions, book signings, and intimate sessions across multiple stages:

- A family-focused stage with story time for young readers
A curated marketplace features independent booksellers and local makers.
The majority of the festival, including the market and general festivities, is free and accessible to the public. Some programming and specific areas require tickets. A special ticketed event, The Prologue, takes place the night before on Friday, October 16 at the downtown library.
