Scientist in the Spotlight: Neuroscientist
Tomorrow · 2:00 PMto4:00 PM
Location
301 Wakara Way · Salt Lake City, UT
About
Discover what it’s like to be a neuroscientist. Join Miguel Cuevas to explore how brains differ across species, what neurons look like, and how scientists study them.
Visitors can see and touch animal brain and neuron models, examine pictures of neurons and brain organoids, and try a hands-on "hunt for your own neurons" activity at the table.
Scientist in the Spotlight is held on the first and third Friday of each month from 2-4 p.m. The program allows Museum guests to meet real scientists and discuss their research. See program page below for additional scientists in the series.
Included in Museum admission; free to Museum Members and University of Utah faculty, staff, and students with a current UID.
