The Capital District Scottish Games will take place on September 5, 2026 at Altamont Fairgrounds, 129 Grand Street, Altamont NY, 12009.
This event celebrates Scottish heritage and features:
- Pipe Band Events
- Stage Bands
- Highland Athletics
- Highland Dancing
- Children's Events
- Clans & Societies
- Import Vendors
- Patron's Tent
There are also opportunities for on-site camping, hotel and lodging options, and a charity golf tournament associated with the games.
Tickets are available online and at the gate. Gate admission is $25, with free entry for children 12 years of age and younger. Free parking is included. Veterans and active military receive a 50% discount on gate admission with ID, applicable only at the gate and only for the service member.

- Solo Contests
- Highland Dance
The Games are hosted by the Schenectady Pipe Band.
