The Capital District Scottish Games take place on September 5, 2026, at Altamont Fairgrounds, 129 Grand Street, Altamont, NY 12009.
This event features a variety of activities and contests including:

- Highland Athletics
- Highland Dancing

- Opportunities to learn about Clans & Societies
- Import vendors and food
- On-site camping
- A charity golf tournament
Tickets are available online in advance or at the gate for $25. Children 12 years of age and younger are free at the gate. Veterans and active military receive a 50% discount on gate admission with ID; this discount applies only at the gate and only to the veteran or service member themselves. Parking is free.
Registrations are open for Pipe Band, Solo Contests, and Highland Dance. Attendees can also find information about hotels and lodging nearby.
