“To me, Opus 40 is one of the seven wonders of the Hudson Valley. Harvey Fite and his wife Barbara shared the space with many local musicians. This festival, Rock the Quarry, honors their legacy and their devotion to local music. This event provides a wonderful sense of community and it’s a pleasure to be part of it.” – Jack Petruzelli

Performers and highlights:
- RTQ band: Cindy Cashdollar, Jack Petruzelli, Will Bryant, Rich Pagano, Ben Zwerin.
- Emcee: WKZE / Rick Schneider.

Sandy Bell
Sandy Bell is an alternative musician and singer-songwriter whose work transforms grief, broken dreams, and spiritual longing into hauntingly hopeful poetic soundscapes. Her debut full-length album When I Leave Ohio was praised for its emotional intensity and lyrical depth, while her 2023 follow-up Entelechy channels nature, loss, and mystery with stirring melancholy and musical grace. Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Bell draws inspiration from emotional truth and abstract expressionism. She is currently performing in Woodstock, NY and recording new material slated for release in 2026. Her work has drawn comparisons to artists such as Kate Bush and Joanna Newsom.
