Jazz Appreciation Month Concert: Monkell Brothers Trio

Tom and Brad Monkell are two musicians from New York’s Capital Region who write original instrumental music as The Monkell Brothers.

• Tom is a guitarist who has played on a variety of different Broadway shows and toured nationally and internationally with Broadway affiliates.

• Brad is a bassist who is a sideman for many jazz groups while leasing his own jazz-funk group called Bad Monk and performing as bassist for popular upstate NY funk group Ten Most Wanted.
