Capital District Scottish Games

The Capital District Scottish Games will be held on September 5, 2026, at the Altamont Fairgrounds, 129 Grand Street, Altamont, NY 12009.

The event celebrates Scottish heritage and includes:
- Pipe band events
- Stage bands
- Highland athletics
- Highland dancing
- Children's events
- Clan and society gatherings
- On-site camping
- A charity golf tournament
- Hotels and lodging information
- Import vendors

Tickets are available now. Tickets purchased at the gates are $25 per person, with free admission for children 12 years of age and younger. Free parking is available.

Veterans and active military can receive a 50% discount on gate admissions by showing ID at the gate; this discount is only available in person for the service member.

Contest registrations are open for pipe bands, solo contests, and Highland dance.
