Suitable for ages 6+.
Join us on a 0.9 mile hike to look for wild blue lupine, a native perennial wildflower (also known as "sun dial lupine") that grows in the Albany Pine Bush. Wild blue lupine is critical to the survival of two rare butterflies here. Come learn more about wild blue lupine and the important role it plays in our inland pine barrens ecosystem while experiencing the beauty of the pine barrens in spring. We will meet inside the Discovery Center.
