Triplum

Triplum is a trio of violinists formed by Connor Armbruster, Jessica Bowen, and Lucy Nelligan in 2026. Their debut piece, composed by Armbruster, is a new mass of sacred polyphony: a springing to new life of the earliest forms of written harmony, with three distinct voices that weave through each other, coalesce into unison, and break apart again. The effect is uniquely soul-vibrating and primordial, a triangulation of the three players’ different backgrounds playing the same instrument.
