About

David Alan Miller, conductor
Saili Oak, soprano

Russian romanticism meets Hindustani classical music in a program pairing Rachmaninoff’s sweeping Symphony No. 1 with new works by Reena Esmail about sisterhood across cultures and a poet whose ideas were dangerously ahead of their time.

Program:
- Reena Esmail: Vishwas
- Reena Esmail: My Sister’s Voice (Meri Sakhi Ki Avaaz)
- Sergei Rachmaninoff: Symphony No. 1
