The Mount Ida Anything Goes Open Mic!
Join us for a fun and relaxed evening at our Community Anything Goes Open Mic Night! Whether you're a seasoned performer or just looking to share your talent, everyone is welcome to take the stage. Special note for pianists: we have a 1906 baby grand Steinway available for your talents.
Open mics are how our community speaks, so bring your music, poetry, comedy, or any unique act you want to share. Let’s celebrate creativity together in a warm and supportive environment!
What to expect:
- All ages and all styles of music, dance, and performance are welcome.
- Sign-up is first come, first served.
- Format is planned as round-robin; each performer will do a mini-set (about 5–10 minutes or 2–3 songs). Shorter is fine.
- The hall's natural acoustics are great; we’ll also have a basic PA system and microphone available, plus the baby grand piano for pianists.
- Please bring your own digital device to connect to the PA system.
- Meet other local creatives and community members in a friendly environment.
Who are we?
Anything* Goes Open Mic is produced by Mount Ida Preservation Hall's new Programming Committee. We're a volunteer group of local artists and creatives eager to create community through events programming. If you'd like to join us, chat us up at the event.
