Autumn Tour

We’ll take a tour of the Erie Canal along the towpaths at Schoharie Crossing. This free tour will meander along the historic "Clinton’s Ditch" before crossing footbridges at Empire Lock and the Enlarged (second version) of the canal. We’ll return to overlook the remnants of the Schoharie Creek Aqueduct and then return to the Visitor Center.

This mile loop will cover uneven grassy pathways. Proper footwear and clothing are recommended.

Free and open to the public. Well behaved and leashed dogs (no more than 6’ leash) are allowed.
