Jeffrey Gaines is known for his soul-searching lyrics and powerful live performances. Accompanied only by his voice and guitar, he has earned a reputation as a captivating performer for audiences worldwide.

Across a three-decade recording career, Gaines has released acclaimed albums featuring introspective lyrics and uplifting melodies. His 1992 self-titled debut spawned the hit “Hero in Me.” Later releases include Somewhat Slightly Dazed (1994), Galore (1998), Always Be (2001), Toward the Sun (2003) and Alright (2018). Gaines has toured North America and Europe, including as a support act for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers in Europe, Tracy Chapman, and Stevie Nicks with Sheryl Crow.

“The biggest pleasure I derive from this is playing live,” Gaines says. “There’s nothing more satisfying for me than a good live gig. I’m in control, but the audience can take it to a place that’s higher than I can imagine.”
