The Departed (2006)

An undercover cop (Leonardo DiCaprio) infiltrates the Irish mob while a fellow mole (Matt Damon) rises through the ranks of the Massachusetts State Police. Each races to expose the other before it’s too late. As the walls close in, a ruthless crime boss (Jack Nicholson) tightens his grip on the underworld, a police psychiatrist (Vera Farmiga) becomes entangled with both men, and a foul-mouthed sergeant (Mark Wahlberg) proves he’s smarter than anyone gives him credit for.

Directed by Martin Scorsese and winner of four Academy Awards, including Best Picture, this ferociously entertaining crime thriller ranks among the finest films of its era.
