4th Annual Mayfly Film Festival

The Schoharie River Center presents the fourth annual Mayfly Film Festival, an inspiring & urgent program of diverse films focused on the environment and our relationship with it. Featuring documentaries, narratives, animations, and experimental films centered on different environmental issues. The program is an hour long and features 10+ international and local short films. It's a fun and entertaining watch, while impactful and informational.
This event will also feature activities and tabling from local environmental advocacy organizations, open to all ages.
Schedule and highlights:
- Activities start at 5:00 PM with a community weaving project, "Woven River: What Ties us to the Land," with artist Mallory Zondag.
- The Schoharie River Center will have an activity with microscopes from 8:00 PM.
- Films start when it's dark enough (around 8:30 PM).
This is outdoors and weather dependent.
RAIN LOCATION: SLOC Education Building (418 Liberty St.)
FREE to attend; donations accepted and will go to supporting the Schoharie River Center's youth ecology programs.
