Mandolin Vitamins – Tunes, Techniques and Ensemble Music

Attention Mandolin, Octave Mandolin, Mandola and Mandocello players — this class is intended for advanced beginner and up mandolin-family players and is limited to 10 students. The class will run from 10:00 until 11:30.

Instructor: Alan Epstein

• Has been playing mandolin for the past 54 years and teaching others to play mandolin for 30 years.
• Originally from Pittsburgh, PA; has lived in the Capital District since 2008 and currently lives in Glens Falls, NY.
• Has performed in bluegrass bands in Colorado, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New York.
• Founded the modern-day Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra in 2002.
• Wernick Method Bluegrass Jam instructor since 2012.
