Family Saturday: Watercolor Waterways
Location
About
Join us Saturday, November 7, at 2 pm, for Family Saturday: Watercolor Waterways. After viewing and discussing work by the Survival Kit Collective in the exhibition 500 Dams: Art, Ecology and Radical Care at Anaya Springs, participants will make their own oil-resist watercolor paintings using rocks, oil pastels, and liquid watercolor.
Family Saturday programs foster multigenerational creative cooperation through looking at artwork, discussing it, and taking part in a hands-on art-making activity. Programs run from 2–3:30 pm and include a tour of selected works. All programs are free and open to the public, and suitable for children age 5 and older accompanied by their adult companions. No registration required; supplies are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
