Step into a world of myth and imagination as you design your own fantastical creatures in watercolor. From gryphons and kelpies to krakens and jackalopes, explore the creatures that have shaped fantasy art and storytelling for generations.
Working from a curated pool of nature books, magazines, and digital references, you’ll learn to combine real-world anatomy with imaginative elements to create creatures that feel both magical and believable. Through guided drawing exercises and focused watercolor instruction, you’ll refine your line work, strengthen your composition, and build richly detailed environments that bring your creations to life.
Students are encouraged to arrive with an idea of the creature they’d like to make so the instructor can help shape and support their vision. This workshop is for artists ready to experiment and develop more advanced watercolor and drawing techniques. Supplies are not included.
