Lush Botannica - Creating Fruit Botanical Art with Felt and Thread with artist in residence Aly Parrott

Have you wanted to try out fiber art but not sure where to get started? In this multimedia workshop, students will create a botanical wall hanging piece using wool felt scraps, wool roving, and embroidery thread.

Students will learn an exciting multimedia approach to creating fiber art, using needle felting and embroidery techniques. There will be an instructor-led example to follow, but everyone is welcome to put their own spin on the project.

By the end of the class students will have a beautiful botanical wall-hanging to take home, as well as lasting knowledge to continue their fiber art explorations. All materials included.
