Capturing Twilight in Pastel with Kris Woodward

Capture the quiet beauty of dusk in this three-hour soft pastel workshop. Designed for both beginners and intermediate artists, this class offers a hands-on chance to explore soft pastel while observing the subtle shifts in color and light that define an evening sky.

Kris will guide you through:
- blocking in the broad shapes of the sky and landscape
- building up layers to create glowing clouds, radiant sunsets, and the soft transition from day to night

You’ll experiment with blending, scumbling, feathering, and other techniques to achieve smooth gradients and atmospheric effects.
