The Eighteenth Annual Youth Movements Festival, titled 'Carnival of Nature,' showcases music and dance inspired by nature: animals, weather and environments, plants, and seasons.

A complete performance of 'Carnival of the Animals' features Chris Neubert and the University Symphony Orchestra along with students from School for the Albany Berkshire Ballet, the Festival's favorite and most frequent guest.

We are also delighted to welcome professional dancers from the Albany Berkshire Ballet, performing an excerpt from Adolphe Adam's 'Giselle' along with new choreography for Scott Joplin's 'Pineapple Rag,' Debussy's 'The Snow is Dancing', Schumann's 'Papillons', and Chopin's 'Nocturne in E Flat Major'.
