About

For Adults and Teens ages 14+: Interested in creating graphic novels and zines? This workshop will go over the basic layout tools needed to get started.

Funded by the UAlbany StAR Grant Program, this program is presented by the staff and interns from the Creative Technologies Lab at UAlbany's University Library, in partnership with APL's Albany Made Creative Lab.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Everyone will use PowerPoint and Canva, so bring your laptop to the workshop.
- If you want to use an APL laptop during this workshop, please register and write LAPTOP under Special Notes. There are 8 laptops for patrons to use.
- Before the workshop, please set up free web-based accounts at PowerPoint and Canva.
- There is space for a total of 20 participants.

STEM/STEAM programs involve programming that covers Science, Technology, Engineering, (Arts) and Math.
